FAULTCAM は、古いデジタルカメラの写りに、故障したセンサーの癖を重ねて撮る／加工するカメラアプリです。処理はすべて端末内で完結します。

よくある質問

写真はどこかへ送信されますか？: いいえ。撮影も加工も端末内で完結します。開発者のサーバーはなく、アカウントも解析もありません。アプリ自身がネットワークを使うのは、App Store での購入と購入の復元だけです。
元の写真は変更されますか？: いいえ。写真ライブラリから読み込んだ写真はそのまま残り、書き出しは常に新しい写真として保存されます。写真ライブラリへの権限は「追加のみ」で、ライブラリの中身を読み取ることはありません。
カメラの許可を出したくありません: カメラを許可しなくても、写真を読み込んで加工・書き出しする機能はすべてご利用いただけます。カメラの許可は、撮影を始めるときにだけ求めます。
履歴はバックアップされますか？: いいえ。撮影・加工した原本と履歴はアプリの中（端末内）にのみ保存され、アプリが iCloud へバックアップすることはありません。アプリを削除すると履歴と原本は失われます。残しておきたい写真は、書き出して写真ライブラリへ保存してください。写真ライブラリへ保存した画像は、端末の「iCloud 写真」の設定に従って同期される場合があります。
無料版と Pro の違いは？: 無料版では M-01 と C-03 の2個体を使い、故障度スライダーで調整し、撮影・読み込み・オリジナルとの比較・履歴・同じ品質での書き出しができます。透かしは入りません。Pro（買い切り）では、残る4個体（G-02 / A-04 / V-05 / X-06）の使用、詳細スライダー（色・信号・古さ）、個体の探索、お気に入り個体の保存が解放されます。Pro の個体もプレビューまでは無料で確認できます。
購入を復元したい: 設定画面の「購入を復元」から、購入時と同じ Apple Account でサインインした状態で実行してください。買い切り（非消耗型）なので、機種変更後や再インストール後も無料で復元できます。
返金してほしい: App 内課金の返金は Apple が取り扱っています。reportaproblem.apple.com からお手続きください。開発者側で返金を行うことはできません。
書き出した写真に位置情報は残りますか？: いいえ。位置情報（GPS）は常に取り除かれます。元画像の EXIF をそのまま引き継ぐこともありません。
個体名は実在のカメラですか？: いいえ。M-01 などの個体IDと特性はすべて架空の表現で、特定メーカーのカメラ・撮像素子・レンズを計測して再現したものではありません。いかなる企業・ブランドとも提携関係にありません。
故障度を 0 にしても普通の写真になりません: 仕様です。故障度 0 は「壊れていない古いデジカメ」の写り（発色・階調・解像感）であり、いまのスマートフォンの絵にはなりません。故障の癖だけを足し引きするのが故障度スライダーです。
写真の保存に失敗します: 「写真」への追加が許可されているか（設定 > プライバシーとセキュリティ > 写真 > FAULTCAM）、端末の空き容量が十分かをご確認ください。書き出しに失敗しても、撮影した写真はアプリ内の履歴に残っています。

FAULTCAM is a camera app that layers the character of a faulty image sensor over the look of an older digital camera. Everything is processed on your device.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are my photos sent anywhere?: No. Capture and processing both happen entirely on device. There is no developer server, no account, and no analytics. The only network activity the app itself performs is App Store purchase and restore.
Does it modify my original photos?: No. Photos you import from your library are left untouched, and exports are always saved as new photos. The app uses add-only photo permission and never reads the contents of your library.
I’d rather not grant camera access: You can still import photos and use every processing and export feature. Camera permission is requested only when you start shooting.
Is my history backed up?: No. Originals and history live inside the app on your device, and the app never backs them up to iCloud. Deleting the app destroys your history and originals. Export anything you want to keep to your photo library. Images saved there may then sync according to your device’s iCloud Photos settings.
What does Pro unlock?: The free version gives you two units, M-01 and C-03, the fault slider, shooting, importing, side-by-side comparison with the original, history, and full-quality export — with no watermark. Pro (a one-time purchase) unlocks the other four units (G-02, A-04, V-05, X-06), the detail sliders (color, signal, age), unit discovery, and saving favorite units. You can preview the Pro units before buying.
How do I restore my purchase?: Use “Restore Purchases” in Settings while signed in with the same Apple Account you bought with. Because it is a one-time non-consumable purchase, restoring is free after a new device or a reinstall.
I want a refund: In-app purchase refunds are handled by Apple. Please request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. The developer cannot issue refunds.
Do exports keep location data?: No. GPS data is always stripped, and the source EXIF is never copied over wholesale.
Are the unit names real cameras?: No. Unit IDs such as M-01 and their behavior are entirely fictional. Nothing here is measured from or reproduces a specific manufacturer’s camera, sensor, or lens, and the app is not affiliated with any company or brand.
At fault 0 the photo still doesn’t look normal: That’s intended. Fault 0 is a working — but old — digital camera: its color, tonality, and sharpness, not a modern smartphone image. The fault slider adds and removes the sensor’s misbehavior on top of that baseline.
Saving to Photos fails: Check that adding to Photos is allowed (Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos > FAULTCAM) and that your device has free space. Even if an export fails, the photo remains in the app’s history.
