Q. Are my photos sent anywhere?
No. All processing happens on your device. Your photos are never sent outside it, and the app works in Airplane Mode.
Q. What is in the “Toning Set”?
It removes the seal from your exports and unlocks five extra inks (Tea Sepia, Verdigris, Pale Indigo, Steel Blue, Wisteria), three extra papers (Washi, indigo-dyed, coarse), framing (hairline, double rule, plate mark), saving your own presets, title and date inscription, contact sheets, and 4096 px export. It is a one-time purchase — there is no subscription.
Q. I changed phones. Can I carry the Toning Set over?
Yes. Sign in with the same Apple ID and tap “Restore Purchases” in the app. There is no extra charge.
Q. “Save to Photos” fails.
Allow adding to Photos in iOS Settings > Cyanotype. You can also save from the Share button.
Q. I can’t use the brush edge and rounded corners together.
That is intended. The brush edge makes the paper edge break up organically, so it cannot be combined with a rounded-corner crop. Please choose one or the other.
