These terms set out the conditions for using the iOS app “Cyanotype” (“the App”). By downloading and using the App you are deemed to have agreed to these terms.
The App turns photos into cyanotype (sun print / blueprint) style images on your device. All processing happens on the device, and the App does not communicate with any external server (other than App Store purchase handling).
The intellectual property rights in the App and in the designs, programs and other material it contains belong to the developer or to the respective rights holders. The rights in an image you process with the App remain with you as the rights holder of the original photo. You are free to use your processed images however you like, whether privately or commercially.
The App’s additional features — removing the seal from exports, five extra inks, three extra papers, framing, saving your own presets, title and date inscription, contact sheets and 4096 px export — are offered as a one-time in-app purchase called the “Toning Set”. There is no subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID, and after purchase you can retrieve it again with “Restore Purchases” on the same Apple ID. Refunds follow Apple’s policy.
The following are prohibited.
・Reverse engineering, decompiling or modifying the App
・Using the App for anything that breaks the law or offends public order and morals
・Processing or using photos that infringe the rights of others (copyright, likeness rights and so on)
The App is provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any damage arising from use of the App. No warranty is given as to the quality of the results or their fitness for any particular purpose. Please keep your original files when working on photos that matter to you.
These terms may be revised as needed. Any significant change will be announced on this page. Continuing to use the App after a revision is deemed acceptance of the change.
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, and any dispute concerning the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the developer’s location.
