Q. 写真は外部に送信されますか？

いいえ。ドット化・色の適用・紙質の合成は、すべてあなたの iPhone の中で行われます。写真が外部へ送られることはありません。アカウント登録も不要です。詳しくはプライバシーポリシーをご覧ください。

Q. 保存した作品はどこにありますか？

保存した作品はアプリ内のギャラリーに残ります。保存時に写真ライブラリへの追加を許可した場合は、iPhone の「写真」にも保存されます。

Q. 保存できるサイズを教えてください

標準（長辺 2048px）、高解像度（長辺 4096px）、原寸（元の写真と同じ画素数）の3つです。標準サイズはどなたでも保存できます。高解像度と原寸はプレミアムで解放されます。

Q. 右下の「PRINT DOT」の透かしを消したいです

プレミアムをご購入いただくと、保存画面で透かしのオン／オフを選べるようになります。

Q. 無料のままではどこまで使えますか？

DOT STYLE 8種のうち4種（Fine Dot / Bold Dot / CMYK Dot / Mono Ink Dot）、COLOR 11種のうち5種、PAPER 7種のうち3種と、標準サイズ（透かしあり）での保存をご利用いただけます。プレミアムでは、すべてのスタイル・カラー・紙質と、高解像度／原寸・透かしなしの保存が解放されます。

Q. 課金はサブスクですか？

いいえ。「PRINT DOT Premium」は買い切りのApp内課金（日本での価格 ¥980）のみで、自動更新はありません。一度のお支払いでずっとお使いいただけます。

Q. 購入したのにプレミアムになりません／機種変更しました

設定の「購入を復元」をタップしてください。購入時と同じ Apple Account でサインインしていれば、追加のお支払いなく復元できます。

Q. 機種変更するとギャラリーの作品はどうなりますか？

作品は端末内にのみ保存されます（クラウド同期はありません）。iPhone のバックアップ（iCloud または PC/Mac）から新しい端末を復元すると、作品も引き継がれます。念のため、大切な作品は写真ライブラリにも保存しておくことをおすすめします。

Q. 仕上がりが荒い／思ったより粗く見えます

ドットの大きさは画像の長辺に対する比率で決まるため、元の写真が小さいとドットが目立ちやすくなります。大きな写真を選ぶか、保存サイズを高解像度・原寸にすると、印刷や壁紙にも耐える細かさになります。調整パネルのドットの細かさ・コントラストも試してみてください。

Q. プレビューと保存した画像の印象が違います

プレビューは表示用に縮小した画像で描いています。保存時は選んだサイズで描き直すため、ドットの粒立ちがよりはっきり出ることがあります。

Q. 写真の位置情報は作品に残りますか？

残りません。作品は取り込んだ写真から画素を作り直した新しい画像で、元の位置情報や撮影日時（EXIF）を引き継ぎません。

iOS 17 以降の iPhone に対応しています。

FAQ

Are my photos sent anywhere?

No. Halftoning, colors and paper textures are all processed on your iPhone. Nothing is uploaded, and no account is required. See the Privacy Policy.

Where is my saved artwork?

Saved artwork stays in the in-app gallery, and also in the Photos app if you allowed the App to add it to your photo library.

What export sizes are available?

Standard (2048px long edge), High resolution (4096px), and Original (same pixel size as the source photo). Standard is available to everyone; High resolution and Original are unlocked by Premium.

How do I remove the "PRINT DOT" watermark?

Purchase Premium — the export sheet then lets you turn the watermark on or off.

What is included for free?

4 of the 8 DOT STYLEs (Fine Dot, Bold Dot, CMYK Dot, Mono Ink Dot), 5 of the 11 COLORs, 3 of the 7 PAPERs, and standard-size export with the watermark. Premium unlocks everything plus high-resolution/original export without the watermark.

Is this a subscription?

No. "PRINT DOT Premium" is a single one-time in-app purchase with no auto-renewal.

I bought Premium but it isn't active / I changed phones

Tap "Restore purchase" in Settings while signed in with the same Apple Account. Restoring is free.

What happens to my gallery when I switch phones?

Artwork is stored only on your device (no cloud sync), but it is included in your iPhone backup (iCloud or PC/Mac) — restore the new phone from that backup and it comes with you. Saving important pieces to your photo library is a good extra safeguard.

The result looks coarser than I expected

Dot pitch is proportional to the long edge of the image, so smaller source photos show larger dots. Use a larger photo, export at high resolution or original size, and try the dot-size and contrast adjustments.

The preview and the saved image look slightly different

The preview is rendered from a downscaled image for speed; the saved file is re-rendered at your chosen size, so the dot texture can read more sharply.

Does location metadata stay in my artwork?

No. Artwork is newly rendered image data and carries none of the source photo's EXIF or location metadata.

iPhone running iOS 17 or later.
